It is so nice to be back in Portland with Aaron. Well I guess it would be nice if we ever saw him. I know that it isn't his fault but he works a ton. This whole week he left the house by 7 am and wasn't home before 8:30pm. It makes for long days and I can deal with it, but the poor girls are so confused. I've kept Anna up so she can spend sometime with him but Brooklyn went about 3 days before she saw him. I am so grateful though that he works so hard and try not to make him feel too bad for all he is missing. :) I was also informed that in the world of Accounting there are 2 busy seasons not just 1! Go figure. Lets just say were looking forward to after September 15th. The girls and I are trying to pass the time doing everything from trips to target, watching movies, playing play-doh, (see above), playing in the water, cooking, cleaning, (we do a lot of that with 2 under 3 yrs old), read books ect. Anna asks me about every hour. "Is dad coming home right now?" I wonder how it would be to walk in the door at night and have the whole house erupt into cheers and screams of excitement. We love daddy!

My brother in law is a CPA in Denver and my sister goes through the same thing in March and August. She plans her trips to see my Mom during these months!
Welcome to my world. It sucks!! :) It sounds like you are coping pretty well though. And sadly, you will get used to it... At least there is an end in sight, right? We miss you guys! Wish you were closer so we could burn some of those long husband-less hours together!
oh target! I miss that place! you are so lucky. So I will totally know how you feel next year when james starts dental school and I never see him again for 12 years! It will all be over before you know it!
